Amar and his wife Sri make a formidable team. During the initial days of visiting open houses and narrowing down the right areas with good school district, Sri was an excellent guide having in-depth conversation about investing in the right locations and advising us on each home thoroughly. Since my husband and I both have hectic work schedules, Sri was able to accommodate calls after hours for any questions/concerns. Her knowledge of the market, areas and insights based on our needs was critical. On one home which we really liked and seemed good at face value, Sri was able to advise us on this not being a good investment in the long term since it might lack appreciation value, this was valuable advice since most Realtors® hesitate to tell the truth and might not stop you from making wrong home buying decisions. We were proven correct when within 2 months of home search. When we moved to the next phase of making an offer on a home of interest, Amar stepped in with his expertise to guide us on the right offer prices while ensuring appreciation and appraisal gaps are well accounted for. Amar and Sri’s guidance helped us be the second highest offer on the table. Amar excellent negotiation skills was able to win us the offer despite the highest offer being 40K more than ours. Amar/Sri collaborated with us on every aspect of the process/strategy and kept us informed throughout on the progress. During the escrow/appraisal process, we were concerned on potential appraisal gaps. Amar and Sri went above and beyond to personally met with the appraiser to ensure the appraiser understands the local market and right value of the home. We were fortunate to find Amar and Sri for our home buying process. We were first time home buyers with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. As my wife was pregnant, we were in a desperate need to find a home to welcome our daughter and start a new life with her. It was such a crucial time for both of us but the entire process of home buying was priceless. We came to know about Amar from online reviews. We first had a one on one session with Amar (highly recommended) where he explained the entire home buying process to us. I am sitting down to review our home buying experience with Amar and I am completely at a loss for words. I do not know where to begin. I could just say Amar is THE BEST REALTOR® you will ever find and rest my case there. However, here is my feeble attempt at the review, as I already know that words cannot do justice. My husband and I started looking for homes with Amar in July 2012, when the real estate market was extremely competitive. The inventory was low and the good homes were going for $30K – $100K over the asking price. It was tough enough to find a home you liked, forget finding the very good school district you were looking for and forget finding a seller who would accept the modest offer you wanted to make. It was in this environment, that too in less than two months that Amar closed on our IDEAL home. He won the property before the offer deadline at $35K below the amount we had authorized him to quote in the offer. In addition, Amar negotiated over $8K towards closing costs from the seller and the lender. He basically hit our deal way out of the park for a HUGE home run!. “How did he do it?” I have wondered. While I am still figuring out all the specifics of his magic, I believe it was a mix of extreme diligence, highly intelligent strategy, flawless execution, commitment, and the good luck that only smiles on people who are great human beings. Amar was personally involved in every step of our home purchase process – right from getting our preapproval to visiting all the potential homes with us to engaging with our lender and closing escrow. Amar saved my husband and me from buying homes that would have been an less than optimal investment. He gave every home we “liked” thorough consideration and worked way past midnight for us on many occasions. It was only after thorough research that he advised us one way or another. Amar has stringent standards on the homes he will purchase for his clients as he has their best interest in mind at all times. My recommendation to all the home buyers out there is that you will be lucky if Amar agrees to represent you. et me start by saying this – there cannot be a better Realtor® than Amar. Period. When we decided to buy our first home, we started looking for a Realtor® who could guide us in the right direction and help us make our dream a reality. Amar had very good and a lot of positive reviews, so we decided to contact him. And that sure was the best decision we took. Sri is a gem of a person. She was very proactive and always informed us about any good listings whenever they came up. She’d always try to understand our changing requirements focusing even on finer details, to ensure that she’s able to find the perfect fit for us. We could ask any question to her and she’d always answer all our questions patiently and in detail, no matter how small/silly they seem. Even after losing the deal and the time they had spent on the contract, there was not a single ounce of drop in the enthusiasm Amar and Sri showed showing/suggesting next properties. That is how professional they are. And then there was the home that we had been waiting for all these months. We hadn’t even bothered to go to the open house because it was way above our budget. But one fine evening we got a call from Sri and informed that Amar wanted us to have a look at the house. We got ready in half an hour and were on our way to the house. When we first saw the house, we couldn’t believe we could afford it and were even thinking that this could be a waste of time. But Amar suggested us to make an offer and we decided to give it a try.
