In 1976, the construction of Westlake Shopping Center further increased Daly City’s prominence as more people moved there looking for a cheaper alternative to expensive housing in San Francisco. Today, this burgeoning city is home to diverse cultures and provides excellent educational and work opportunities for its residents.
