Beautiful Landscaping in front of the House

When I come back from the office and step out of the car, the first thing that attracts me is the landscaping. Those year-round beautiful rose flowers will welcome home. We have a bunch of varieties of rose flowers in different colors that always give happiness every time you see and feel. That artificial grass field in between the rose plants is a playground for kids. Most of the summer days, when I am back from the office, I get to meet my kids there before carrying them inside the house. Additionally, trimming those rose plants while sipping a coffee is always a fun activity.

Spacious Kitchen

Who doesn’t love bigger kitchens? When we bought this house, the kitchen was one thing that made our decision easy. The kitchen is huge, with so many cabinets and ample space for anything to fit in. It was no wonder why my friends chose to host a bunch of parties at my house. At any time, four people can simultaneously cook and help prepare lunches or Dinners in the kitchen when there are bigger groups during festivals or some random parties.

I Like Natural Lighting

Who doesn’t? Either garage, main living room, main bedroom, kids room, or office/guest room blessed with natural lighting; when we were looking for a house to buy, this was one of the main criteria for my wife and me, and we found this. We can’t imagine how much happiness this natural lighting brings into the house. All summer long, we never had to power on
the lights before sunset. For me and my family, natural lighting is a bigger part of natural living.

Connected Living rooms never fall short.

Is having connected living rooms a good idea? In fact, that’s what my friends like most in my house, having arranged living rooms this way makes it look huge and feels lively. There is always some space left for something in the house, either for kids to play, watch movies with family etc. or birthday parties, having these connected living rooms never felt short.
Are you at the Home office?
While the other three bedrooms are on one side, this guest bedroom is isolated from them, which gives guests a lot of privacy. During the pandemic, this bedroom was transformed into an office room to create boundaries between the office and home.

Is it really a Garage?

It is our favorite place, not only for our family but also for all our family and friends. Since it is fully finished, like a living room with all the walls insulated, recess lighting, epoxy on the floor, isolated heating and heat water system, and finished cupboards, it is a multi-purpose area that used to be transformed into a media room, play area for kids, a party place and a yoga studio (Yes, I am a certified yoga teacher used to teach yoga in this area to the community) filled with lot of positive vibes and spiritual energy. This 400 sq ft living place never falls short of these activities. One of our favorite activities during a pandemic is to fill up a coffee mug, open the garage, and have a sunbath (shhh.. it’s secret, we never parked our cars in the garage)

Do you love nature and healthy eating?

As a kid growing up in a village and part of a farmer’s family, I always liked nature and healthy eating habits; while I can’t cultivate on a bigger
scale here, I know I have enough space to cultivate for my family and friends, at least in summer. I have built vegetable beds, bought soil, and started some vegetation. It has not only provided great produce but also helped my kids to get into the roots and learn things. Our whole family enjoyed working in the backyard, including the kids. It was so much a sense of happiness as my kids owned some part of those vegetable beds, planting and cultivating from scratch.

Persimmons, Persimmons, Persimmons.

I bet those two persimmon trees produce the best persimmons in California. We were blessed to have them in our backyard.
My kids enjoyed the swing hanging from the tree. These trees gave me shade, fruits, and fresh air at zero cost to me. Yes, even I don’t need to water them. They are such selfless beings.

Neighborhood

Where are my kids?
With Just a minute walk away from the pines park, it is never easy for the kids to get bored. With a huge park, tennis courts, basketball courts, and play structures, it is not only for kids but for me and my wife. It was a happening place when it came to morning or evening walks.
Who is dropping kids off at school today?
Both of my kids are in elementary school, which is just a five-minute walk away. We never had to drop them off at school when they could manage to go to school themselves within our sight.

Amazing community

I liked being part of this very rare urban community of homes that has real boundaries separated by walls. These long walkways (around 2 miles) around the community helped me achieve my health goals during the pandemic; you don’t have any excuses for physical workouts.
As I was a yoga teacher and conducted yoga classes in my garage for the community, I got to know so many people from the community, and I helped and got help from neighbors. Missing volleyball games, which happen every Sunday morning with Pines neighbors.

Like Shopping?

I enjoyed evening walks to the Great Mall, which is just a mile away, restaurants, and movie theatres, all within walking distance.
