A few thoughts about my Home on Casper Street

My home is a perfect sanctuary from the busy life we lead outside. When I come home, it envelops me in the sense of belonging and comfort. As I turn into Casper Street, the sight of my beautiful and welcoming front yard and the pretty white bench fills me with a sense of belonging and peace.

The street is quiet and friendly-Most summer days, I see kids playing in the front yards of homes, and I look forward to seeing my kids in my front yard.

3 Spacious bedrooms & 2 Updated bathrooms

With three spacious bedrooms and two updated bathrooms, this room had plenty of space for our growing family. When we bought the house, we put in new hardwood floors throughout it to make it the stellar living space we wanted.

Dedicated Office space and fully finished Garage

Having a dedicated office space in our home was such a blessing during the pandemic- with three bedrooms and office space, we all had plenty of dedicated work areas to do our work without getting on each other’s nerves. 😊

Large Backyard with a Covered Patio- perfect for entertaining

My home has the most comfortable and large Backyard one would want. Its covered patio and many fruit trees make it perfect for entertaining. We have hosted many birthdays and dinner parties in our Backyard. All our friends love our home for this stellar outdoor space. As we live in a place blessed with eight months of outdoor weather, this is a well-used and well-enjoyed feature of the house.

Most importantly, the home has what we think is the Queen of California’s trees- a large Avocado tree! It also has citrus trees like lemon, lime, cuties, and Limequat. These bear fruit almost yearly, and we have been fortunate enough to share our bounty with family, friends, and neighbors.

Great schools and an awesome community

Another factor that attracted us to this home when we were in the market is that the elementary school is 5 min walk away from home. Our kids usually walk to school daily, and staying close to the elementary school is a blessing. All three schools are highly rated- especially the middle and high schools. You don’t have to worry about schools if you are someone with young kids.

The community has many young families with kids, and my kids have had a blast making friends with people on our street. A rare, quiet, and safe community right next to freeways. Getting to work was never an issue for us- the freeways are five mon away, and if you work in the city, the BART is a few miles away. A win-win situation, if there ever was one!

Lovely, upgraded kitchen and floors

When we bought the house, we immediately saw the kitchen’s potential. We got to work directly and upgraded the kitchen to our standards- including new appliances (installed recently?), recently upgraded floors throughout the house, granite countertops, and backsplash.

This cozy and well-maintained home is close to major shopping centers and public parks.

This home is – a rare gem and a definite keeper.
